Reported community route: fire into the choke points themselves — not the open spawn area — keep one small tower set per choke, and let Tesla Coils on the end islands mop up whatever gets through.
The doctrine from the request thread
When a player asked for Sir, We Have an Orc Problem Level 4.2 suggestions, the first answer laid out the logic that the rest of the thread repeated: orcs arrive faster than the choke points can pass them, so killing them before the pinch does nothing. Killing them inside or just after the choke thins the stream twice — once by the map, once by your towers.
- Aim into the pathways. Point damage towers down the choke channels. Firing at the wide spawn area wastes shots on orcs the map is about to queue anyway.
- One modest set per choke. A reported build used roughly one Flamethrower at the start, one bouncing Laser, one Machine Gun and one rear Tesla Coil for each of the map's eight chokes, with a few extra Machine Guns that the poster judged unnecessary in hindsight.
- Hold the islands at the end. Tesla Coils placed on the end islands catch leaks from every choke at once instead of duplicating cleanup towers everywhere.
What this level is actually testing
- Coverage discipline over raw power. With eight tight chokes, spreading a few maxed towers thin can beat one monster kill box that only watches two lanes.
- Rear cleanup placement. The end islands are the natural Tesla positions in the reported build; a leak-free run still depends on them catching the stragglers.
- Laser geometry, if you have it. The reported per-choke set includes one bouncing Laser; flat opposing walls give it repeated crossings, which matches the Laser advice on other maps.
No written guide or verified video yet
The evidence base for 4.2 is currently the discussion thread itself and Exebri's posted layout. Neither a dedicated community guide page nor a walkthrough video with enough detail was found at this check, so this page deliberately stays at the level of reported routes rather than inventing exact tower counts.
